Manager of Jam Petrochemical Complex Self Sufficiency Committee announced making Film Maker Machine to produce polymeric thin films with different thicknesses.
According to Jam Petrochemical Complex public relations, Mr. Gholam Abbas Ahmadi, manager of Jam Petrochemical Complex Self Sufficiency Committee said: Film Maker Machine is used to produce polymeric thin films with different thicknesses. The mentioned thin films are very important to carry out DSC, DMA and OIT tests to identify polymers’ specifications. They are produced in temperature more than polymer melting point and under at least 3 bar pressure. It is expected that the gained film is very smooth by locating polymer solid material as granule, powder and … in the machine frame; it identifies importance and necessity of smoothing the used frame surface to produce film. Therefore, Film Maker frame is one of important parts of the machine, and in fact, its appropriate quality guarantees suitable quality of the produced film.
Mr. Ahmadi said: as Jam Petrochemical Complex R&D Unit has purchased a Film Maker Machine, it is necessary to produce spare parts for vulnerable parts, in order to use it permanently and continuously. The machine smooth and mirror surface are two main parts of the machine that they may be damaged and abraded. As a result, by suggesting the mentioned unit, the complex Self Sufficiency Committee made the frame and all its parts by helping one of local higher producers in Shiraz during three months, which it is similar original model completely. By considering to the carried out tests to produce film by the made frame (the following results), it has acceptable performance as original frame.
Manger of the complex Self Sufficiency Committee explained: in addition to the mentioned device, the committee could make 30 required items of Jam Petrochemical Complex in number 278 in cooperation with 14 local producers and deliver them to applicant and the complex reservoirs at July and August.
You can see details of the produced parts in section of Self Sufficiency Committee at Jam Petrochemical Complex website.
