Increasing the Price of Petrochemicals Feed will Increase Petrochemicals Earnings
Ms. Alifari: “after increasing the feed price we should wait for increase in product price and subsequently increase in the company earnings.”

According to JPC public relations, in the meeting held with the presence of JPC managers and officials, Ms. Malihe Alifari, the chief of JPC stock affairs and economic analysis, explained about the effect of increasing gas price on petrochemical companies’ earnings and said, “Those petrochemical companies whose feed is natural gas (Methane) will be influenced by increase in feed price. However, Jam petrochemical company uses Ethane as its main feed and consequently will not be affected by increase in feed price. If increase in gas price means appropriate balance of feed price in other gas petrochemical complexes, the negative effect of this issue on company profit will be less on Jam petrochemical complex because of its feed combination which is 45 (gas) and 55 (liquid). Further, after increasing the feed price we should wait for increase in product price and subsequently increase in the company earnings.”
