Mr. Ghasemi Shahri is new Complex Manager Of JPC.
Following new accidents occurred in the field of HSE and opinions raised by the sector professionals, Mr. Ghasemi Shahri, former JPC HSEQ and plant manager, appointed as new plant manager of Jam Petrochemical Complex and Mr. Pakravan was appreciated for his efforts during his service time.
During valediction ceremony, Mr. Beheshtian told that in petrochemical complexes, plant manager has very heavy responsibilities. Some jobs have limited periods and this change is to the benefit of Mr. Pakravan. Working as plant manager for many years and different managing directors is an abnormal action.
He added: Mr. Pakravan’s efforts in past years are highly appreciable and we wish he accepts one of new opportunities offered to him and share his experience with other colleagues. Mentioning the high work tension in the management of the complex, he told: I hope Mr. Ghasemi Shahri will be able to handle these difficulties and is ready to taste the pleasure of doing hard jobs.
“Our priority in choosing plant manager was to appoint one of JPC’s own people, but due to some sensitivities, we preferred to select someone with new ideas” Beheshtian told.
Highlighting Ghasem Shahri’s valuable experiences, Beheshtian told: We believe that by appointing Ghasemi Shahri, JPC is now enjoying new experiences and knowledge and we are going to develop ourselves in daily basis. Ghasemi Shahri’s selection was based on his impressive background and management experiences in both plant level and senior management in other complexes.
Managing Director of JPC told: His appointment was fully out of dictation and pressure climate from anybody and during three Board meetings, Ghasemi Shahri was considered as new plant manager.
He concluded that ethics must be observed in all aspects of the plant and we are not authorized to create any risk and hazard background to anybody.
