In the closing days of the Belarus exhibition, Jam Petrochemical received officials, customers, users and end producers.

According to Jam Petrochemical's public and international relations office, the officials attending the exhibition — among them Alireza Sanei, Iran's ambassador to the Republic of Belarus, and Belarusian officials — visited the Iranian pavilion and held discussions with the traders there.

Visiting the exhibition and speaking with Jam Petrochemical's managers and officials at the Iranian pavilion, Iran's ambassador to Belarus said: we must give practical effect to the economic memoranda between Iran and Belarus and work to bring them to the point of implementation.

He said: the presence of economic actors and traders at exhibitions of this kind broadens trade relations between the two countries.

At a meeting with Iran's ambassador, the international manager and the petrochemical manager of Belneftekhim (the Belarusian oil ministry) held further talks on buying acrylic and nitrile from subsidiary companies, and the ambassador emphasised continuous trade contact between Iranian and Belarusian companies and practical steps to that end.

Jam's specialists held a meeting with the head of the Belarus chamber of commerce and then with the chief executive and officials of Trade Capital Bank (TC BANK), who set out the bank's capacity in settlement and payment and made proposals on transferring money, on matters relating to financial exchange between Belarusian traders, and on the available methods of moving credit.

A number of customers for Jam's products, as well as users and end producers, also came to the Jam stand, where the range of products, production capacity and purchase and payment terms were presented to buyers and their details shared with the sales unit. Logistics companies also held talks about moving goods from Iran to Belarus and in the other direction.

Another important meeting was held with the sales officials of Naftan, the largest producer of acrylonitrile (ACN) in Belarus and approved by Padjam's licensor. The talks mattered because finding a supplier of ACN as feedstock for Padjam Petrochemical at a suitable and economical price helps that company to produce steadily and at a higher margin.

Continuing these meetings and exchanges, a session was held with the director of the Minsk science and technology park, centred on presenting Jam's production capacity, selling Jam's products in the Belarusian market and drawing on that country's production capacity and manufacturing equipment.

The Belarus specialist exhibition of chemicals, oil and gas, polymers and composites was held from 24 to 26 September 2024, corresponding to 3 to 5 Mehr 1403, in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, and Jam Petrochemical had a strong presence at the event.
