Health services improved with the installation of new ultrasound technology at Jam's clinics

According to Jam Petrochemical's public and international relations office, attention to employees' health and the protection of human capital has always been one of the important strands of the company's approach to its organisational responsibilities. In keeping with this, and with the aim of strengthening health infrastructure and raising the standard of diagnostic and treatment services, an advanced portable SonoAir ultrasound device has been added to the medical equipment of the health unit of HSE management at Jam Petrochemical's clinics.

The step was taken with the agreement of the chief executive and the support of Jam Petrochemical's deputy for production and operations, in cooperation with supply chain management, so that the company's existing capacity in health services may be strengthened further in line with treatment needs and emergency situations in particular.

The portable SonoAir device makes it possible to carry out initial diagnostic assessments at the point of care and more quickly. This capability can be placed at the medical team's disposal when dealing with trauma, incidents, and penetrating and non-penetrating injuries, and can assist the process of assessment and treatment decisions.

Using this diagnostic capacity, together with the presence of an emergency medicine specialist among Jam Petrochemical's medical staff, allows patients to be assessed more quickly and strengthens the clinics' responsiveness in critical situations.

Alongside developing its production and operational capacity, Jam Petrochemical regards attention to the health and welfare of its human capital as part of the company's path towards sustainable development. On that basis, developing medical facilities, increasing medical readiness and using new health technologies are pursued in order to provide better services for employees and improve the quality of the working environment.
