Jam Petrochemical hosts the health committee of the Pars region petrochemical companies

The first health committee of the Pars region's petrochemical companies for 1404 was held at Jam Petrochemical Company.

According to the public and international relations office of Jam Petrochemical Company, the first meeting of the health committee of the Pars region's petrochemical companies in 1404 was held on Tuesday 16 Ordibehesht, hosted by Jam Petrochemical and attended by senior managers and specialists in health and safety (HSE).

The meeting, attended by Davoud Emadi, HSE manager of the National Petrochemical Company, Hassan Moeini, deputy for production and operations, and Ali Amjadi, HSE manager of Jam Petrochemical, together with a number of health officials and specialists, examined key and strategic matters in the health of petrochemical industry employees.

The importance of employees' mental health in raising organisational productivity, the region's health challenges and proposed remedies, training needs in the fields of artificial intelligence and the management of emerging diseases, and the execution of health projects aimed at reducing occupational exposure were among the other subjects discussed at this specialist meeting.

The HSE manager of the National Petrochemical Company, while emphasising the vital part mental health plays in workforce productivity, called for the active cooperation and participation of the petrochemical complexes in meeting the region's health-centred objectives, described Jam Petrochemical's performance as a successful model in this field, and named the health unit of Jam Petrochemical's HSE management a benchmark among the petrochemical companies of the region and the country.

A hazard identification workshop was also held on 17 Ordibehesht for Jam Petrochemical personnel at the Apadana conference centre within the Jam petrochemical complex, arranged by the HSE and training units, covering the concepts of hazard and risk, the classification of incidents, the HSE culture maturity chart, the identification of unsafe conditions and behaviours, and participation by all in recognising hazards and preventing incidents.
