Padjam Polymer Development Company (Private Joint Stock) was founded by Jam Petrochemical in 1394 to carry out the ABS/Rubber production project. The project is being built in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone at the port of Assaluyeh, on a 15-hectare site, with a capacity of 200,000 tons of ABS and 60,000 tons of Rubber a year, under licence for one of the world's most up-to-date technologies, held by Versalis-Eni A.p.S. Basic engineering was carried out by Tecnimont of Italy.

The Padjam polymer complex will be able to produce 9 different ABS grades and 3 different Rubber products in 7 different grades — for the first time and exclusively in Iran, at the highest quality.

Feedstock: styrene, 152 thousand tons a year, by pipeline from the Pars Petrochemical complex; 1,3-butadiene, 54 thousand tons a year, by pipeline from the Jam Petrochemical complex; and acrylonitrile, 47 thousand tons a year, from abroad. All of the complex's utilities are supplied by pipeline from the Damavand Petrochemical complex.

Operating units: the Rubber plant is the first and only producer of the three products SB, SBS and LCBR in 7 widely used grades based on market demand in Iran, and is designed around a batch process. The ABS plant is likewise the first and only producer of ABS using Mass Continuous technology in 9 widely used grades.

100 percent of this company's shares belong to Jam Petrochemical. The company is managed by Majid Khodabakhsh.
